Great lead in music and terrific references on the blog post to accompany it. I love the idea of a “goal oriented” fandom. You do a nice job exploring the way this community comes out of and responds to the digital world. What an examined group of guests you have. Case in point: “Goals come from a place of proving that…it’s more than just kpop.” “Consumed” really captures the feeling one gets from any fan culture. It’s fascinating to learn the discourse and you all do a very nice job helping the lay listener grasp some of it. The sense of community comes through strongly. Interesting and successful balance of an exclusive community and welcoming in the listener. Well done.
